Sound familiar?

The phone rings for the small stuff, while the work you actually want, the jobs you're best at and that pay properly, goes to someone else.

Meanwhile there's an electrician in Epping who shows up at the top of Google Maps with 40 reviews. He's getting the switchboard upgrades you're not. What is he doing that you're not?

It's the same for clinics and studios. Someone new opens nearby, shows up first on Maps, and the bookings follow them.

I start by asking which jobs you actually want more of.

  1. We work out which jobs you want. More switchboard upgrades in the Hills? More new clients for your clinic? Tell me the work and the suburbs you're after. You talk, I listen.

  2. I build everything around those jobs. I find the searches your competitors are missing, then build your website, Google Business Profile (your Maps listing) and directory listings around them. That's also what ChatGPT reads when someone asks it who to call, so it helps you show up there too. I write all the words too, you just look it over.

  3. The right calls start coming in. I give you a Google Review Sign so happy customers leave a Google review in 30 seconds, which tells Google this is what you do. You show up for more of that work, and it makes up more and more of what you get.

Real results from my clients.

Andrew had wrapped cars for fifteen years and wanted to do frosted glass, but every call was still for wrapping. Chris was getting all his tinting work through car dealerships, until they started dictating terms. Here's what happened once customers could find them on Google.

Already got a website? It might be costing you work.

Most of my clients had been meaning to sort their website out for months or years. Sometimes someone had a go at it already, and it was fine at the time. But that was a while ago.

Evolvere, a pilates studio in Lane Cove, had paid someone for Google work years ago, then nobody looked after it. New competitors moved into the area and went after the exact searches Evolvere's customers made.

I built them a new site, got their rankings back, and found new searches people use to look for what they do.

Common questions

If yours isn't here, give me a call on 0405 507 941.

Here's what's different, in writing. Your domain is registered in your business name from day one, not mine. There's no lock-in: if it's not working, you stop paying at the end of the month. If you leave, I hand everything over within 48 hours and switch your phone number back on Google, so nothing goes missing. And you're not waiting on a monthly report full of graphs: your dashboard shows every call and enquiry as it comes in. You deal with me the whole way, not a sales team.

No. Cancel anytime. No lock-in, no exit fees, no minimum term. If it's not working, you stop paying. Compare that to lead platforms with their 6-month lock-ins, or the SEO agencies that want 12-month minimums.

Setup is a one-off $4,990. Then it's $149/month for me on call - I keep your site live, make changes whenever you need them, and keep you found on Google. Hosting, your domain, professional email, the AI editor and call tracking are all rolled into that one price. Getting you set up on Google properly (20+ local directories, plus your Google Business Profile, the map listing people tap to call) is part of Setup, not an extra. If you're busy and want me running your Google listing for you too, that's Plus, $349/month for one location (+$200 for each extra). The mock-up is free, so you see your site before you pay anything.

Not for results, no. Setup pays for the work of building your site and getting you set up on Google, and that work gets done whether the phone rings in week 3 or week 10. That doesn't take away your rights under Australian Consumer Law: if I don't do the job properly, you're covered. What protects you is how it's set up. You see a mock-up of your site for free before you pay anything, so you know what you're getting. And the monthly has no lock-in, so if it's not working for you, you stop paying at the end of the month and keep everything I built.

Your website goes live within a couple of weeks of you saying go, and your Google Business Profile gets set up straight away. Most of my clients see their first enquiries from the site within 4 to 8 weeks. After that it depends on the search. Some are quick wins, easier to show up for, so they bring calls sooner. Others are the long game, where more businesses are fighting for the top spots, and they take longer. That's just how Google works. Your search numbers show you which is which before we start. I won't promise instant results, because anyone who does is lying. If you want calls straight away, Google Ads can do that, and I'm happy to talk it through with you.

That's covered by the same work. When someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI who to call, it mostly goes off the same things Google does: your Google Business Profile (the map listing people tap to call), your reviews and your own website. So getting you found on Google is also what gets you mentioned there, and a couple of my clients already get visitors from ChatGPT. Nobody can promise you a spot in an AI answer though. If someone's selling you a separate AI package, ask what they'd do differently, because it's mostly the same work. For now Google still sends far more calls than ChatGPT, so that's where most of my effort goes.

Yes. You keep your domain, your Google listing and every review you've already got - they're yours, not your old provider's. I build you a fresh site around the work you want and move everything across for you: the domain, your email and the site. If you're with an agency, you send them one email and I chase them for the logins and handover from there. Check your contract's notice period and I'll time the launch around it. Every old page gets pointed to its new one, so your Google rankings carry over. You might see a small wobble for a week or two while Google catches up, that's normal. Your email keeps working through the move. My monthly only starts at handover, so you're not paying me while it's being built. Once the new site is live, you cancel with them.

You cancel. That's it. You own everything - your domain, your content, your Google Business Profile, every line of code - and if you leave I hand it all over within 48 hours. No exit fees, no notice period, no hostage situations. It stops at the end of the month you've paid for. What stops is the service itself: me on call, the AI editor, the monthly report and the Google checkups. Your domain is registered in your business name from day one. Its renewal, your hosting and your email are bundled into the monthly, so you'd move those to your next provider, and I'll help you get set up. I also swap your tracked number back to your direct number on Google and your website, so no calls go missing. I've heard too many stories of agencies holding domains hostage. That's not how I work.

Not a thing. I set this up for people who'd rather be on the tools than behind a screen. Need something changed on your site? Just call or text me and it's done within 2 business days. If you'd rather do it yourself, the AI editor lets you change it from your phone in plain English. You don't have to log in to anything or watch a YouTube tutorial. There's a dashboard with your calls, enquiries and Google rankings if you want to check on things, and I text you a quick summary each month either way.

Word of mouth is brilliant - and a website makes it work even harder. When someone recommends you, the first thing their mate does is Google your name. If they can't find you, they often call whoever shows up instead. And if your Google listing has 3 reviews while the bloke down the road has 40, they call him. You never hear about the jobs you lost this way. A website turns every recommendation into a booked job.

Getting more work and getting the right work aren't opposites. I start by making the phone ring - that's the first priority. But the way I build your site and your Google listing means the calls that come in tend to be better ones. You don't turn away work you need. The mix just tilts, so more of what comes in is the stuff that actually pays well and doesn't wreck your week.

A note from me

I'm Ben. Before web design I worked at a car wrapping shop in Mona Vale. I started out unwrapping cars in the sun and worked my way up to running production.

We were flat out pumping through whatever walked in the door. Full wraps that took days for not much margin, and decals that weren't worth firing up the printer for. The work we actually wanted was fleet branding, the unglamorous but high-margin work of the industry. But customers couldn't see that we did it.

A few suburbs away was a bigger shop. Their whole brand and online presence was fleet branding, and they took the lion's share of the good jobs. They bought us out.

Everyone who's been in a trade for a few years works out which jobs are the good ones. But many of us are too busy keeping up with wages, rent and insurance to sort out our online presence, and we just hope the right work comes through the door. Hoping is what we did. The fleet shop deliberately went after the work they wanted.

Now I help tradies get more of the jobs they want, so they can say no to the ones they don't.
